Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Miruno mobile application ("App") and related services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

Description of Service

Miruno is a mileage tracking application that allows users to:

• Automatically or manually track vehicle trips using GPS
• Categorize trips as business or personal
• Generate mileage reports for tax deduction purposes
• Export trip data in various formats
• Manage multiple vehicles

Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Subscriptions & Payments

Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Subscription Plans

Miruno offers various subscription plans with different features. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) depending on the plan you select.

Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage your subscription through:

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions

Refunds

Refunds are processed according to the policies of the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not directly process refunds for in-app purchases.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Create false, misleading, or fraudulent mileage records
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service while driving or operating a vehicle (as a driver)
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, and their arrangement), is owned by Miruno and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Your Data & Content

You retain ownership of the trip data, notes, and other content you create using the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content is accurate. Miruno is not responsible for errors in your mileage records or any consequences of inaccurate data.

Disclaimers

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Miruno and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Cost of substitute services
• Personal injury or property damage
• Any issues related to tax filings or audits

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Miruno and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any inaccurate or fraudulent mileage records you create

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

• Breach of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• At our sole discretion

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the App settings or contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on our website
• Updating the "Last updated" date
• Sending an in-app notification

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
